Chicken Taco Meat

2 lbs of white meat chicken breast (whole)

½ cup chicken stock

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp brown sugar

½ tsp onion powder

2-3 Tbsp salsa

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Chopped Cilantro - (optional)

Chopped Onion - (optional)


Slow cooker method

1. In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except optional toppings.

2. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours (or on low for 8 hours).

3. Transfer chicken to a serving bowl, and shred using two forks; moisten with the cooking juices.

4. Serve in taco shells, with toppings, if desired.
